Ronda Rousey will make her long-awaited go back to the Octagon when she challenges Amanda Nunes for the UFC women's bantamweight title at UFC 207. Rousey has not fought because she dropped the belt — in her single career reduction — to Holly Holm at UFC 193.
Rousey's most significant features are her aggression and finishing skill. "Rowdy" hasn't once gone to the judges' scorecards inside her 13-fight pro career with 11 career victories via first-round stoppage. She's always pushing the pace and contains fluid grappling skills to set up her entry match. However, it became clear from the Holm struggle that she could be frustrated and saddened by an opponent with good footwork.
Nunes rarely proceeds to conclusion , as she's gone the distance only twice in her 17 expert fights. She is technically solid on the toes with huge power in her hands. More often than not, she utilizes her wrestling ability to take the fight to the mat and use vicious ground and pound to finish her competitor. "The Lioness" has been known to gasoline out, though, and her hyper-aggressive style implies the longer the fight goes, the worse it gets to your champion.
UFC 207 will happen on December 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
